Chad Smith
is the legendary rock drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and other artists. Chad
is renowned for his powerful grooves, dynamic fills, and strong funk influence, which define his
signature drumming style. Known for his ability to lock in with the bass and create tight rhythm
sections, Smith incorporates syncopation, ghost notes, and heavy hi-hat use, often employing
open-handed techniques for greater fluidity.
Chad was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. He also represented the
National Association of Music Merchants in Washington DC as a lobbyist in support of music
education in US Public Schools, and is a member of Bystander Revolution, which speaks out
against bullying in schools. Chad is known amongst colleagues as one of the greatest rock drummers
of all time.
Chad Wackerman is a first-call studio drummer and world-renowned educator. He has amassed a remarkable body of work, including a seven-year association with Frank Zappa. He has recorded albums and toured with artists as diverse as James Taylor, Barbara Streisand, Steve Vai, Allan Holdsworth, and Andy Summers. His course, the Murray Spivack Method, will give you the foundation for everything you will play.
Gregg Bissonette has become known as one of the most versatile drummers in the business. His broad experience ranges from big band, blues, and rock to Latin, fusion, and much more. His warm, easy-going, down-to-earth manner, combined with a perfect balance between professionalism and a strong work ethic, has made him one of the most respected drummers in the music industry. Gregg has played in Ringo’s All-Starr band for over 20 years and has amassed a body of work that would be too long to list, playing with artists such as David Lee Roth, Toto, Santana, Maynard Ferguson, Joe Satriani, and many more.
