Blair Sinta
Blair Sinta, a Michigan native raised in a musical family, began drumming at 12 and studied classical percussion at Interlochen. He earned a degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Texas and now performs a blend of jazz, rock, and fusion in Los Angeles.
Don Lombardi
Don Lombardi founded Drum Workshop in 1972 as a teaching studio, giving 40 to 50 lessons a week. He studied with Nick Ceroli, Colin Bailey, and was one of Freddy Gruber’s first students, documenting Freddy’s teachings on Buddy Rich’s technique. Active in the LA club scene until DW began manufacturing in 1978, Don holds over 30 patents, but education has always been his passion, leading him to launch Drum Channel to share knowledge from the world’s top educators.
John Good
John Good is the Vice President and co-founder of Drum Workshop (DW Drums). With over four decades of experience, John has revolutionized the drum industry, working closely with legendary drummers like Neil Peart of Rush, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Terry Bozzio with Frank Zappa, Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters to help them achieve their iconic sounds.
JP Bouvet
JP Bouvet, a world-renowned drummer and educator, gained international acclaim after winning the prestigious Guitar Center Drum-Off. He has since toured with artists such as Steve Vai, Dave MacKay and Drew of the Drew.
Mike Packer
Mike Packer, author of The Drum Channel Method, is a distinguished educator and performer with over 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s in Education, Leadership, and Policy from Boston University. Throughout his career, Mike has held prominent academic leadership positions, including Dean of Online Programs & International Initiatives at the Musician’s Institute and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Los Angeles College of Music. As a performer, Mike has worked with notable artists such as Free Flight, Lorna Luft, Wilson Phillips, Diane Reeves, and The Los Angeles Philharmonic.
