Biography

 
 
Ray Blanco hails from Thousand Oaks, California. Ray Blanco was the drummer for the band Hometown Hero. The band was a part of the 2000 and 2001 Vans Warped Tour.

Currently, Ray Blanco is the drummer for The Bangkok Five. The Bangkok Five self-released the 10 The Hard Way EP in the spring 2005, before releasing their full-length LP on Universal in March 2006.

Ray Blanco is also an executive producer with the production company Generator, where his experience in the music industry brings knowledgeable, inventive, and hip leadership to the company. Generator was the brain child of Ray Blanco and co-founder Derek Dale. As an underground alternative production company, they're dedicated to making potent videos for music groups of all rock genres, including punk, alternative, pop, hardcore, and metal.

  • According to Ray's MySpace blog, he intended to commit suicide on or around August 2, 2007. Fortunately, his life turned around shortly afterwards, and he decided to eat french toast instead.
