Biography

 
 
Kevin Woodhouse took drum lessons from Frank Marapodi as a young man in his Northern New Jersey hometown. Kevin Woodhouse remembered riding his bike while banging out rhythms on the handlebars. Kevin Woodhouse studied philosophy at Stanford University. Since graduating in 1989, Kevin Woodhouse played drums professionally in San Francisco and the Western U.S. Kevin Woodhouse studied drumming under David Baribaldi, learned conga from Jorge Bermudez, and tabla from Tim Witter.

Kevin Woodhouse has played with Lane & the Badass Chickenbones, APE, The Cowlicks, YellowWood Junction, Hand of Kindness, Jamie Clark and the Refractors, Brian Wachhorst, Adamosa International, and Barefoot.

In the 1990s, Kevin Woodhouse's interests expanded to include MIDI programming, loop production, and sound design. After designing some unique material, Kevin Woodhouse created Yuzz Music to promote his musical projects. Yuzz now encompasses Kevin's range of soundtrack production, live and studio drumming/percussion, and custom designed loops. Kevin Woodhouse's work on film and commercials includes Miramax, Tristar, Electronic Arts, IBM, Leviz, and Isuzu. Kevin Woodhouse works both independently and collaboratively with other musicians to compose and produce soundtracks, as well as other produtions.
