American drummer Joe Bergamini's brilliance is best exhibited in his current work with legendary progressive rock group Happy the Man and his instrumental progressive rock/fusion band, 4 Front.

A New Jersey native, Joe Bergamini grew up listening to the sounds and rhythms of New York City. Joe Bergamini has performed in Broadway productions, including Billy Joel's Movin' Out. When Movin' Out toured nationally, Joe went on the road with the production.

Joe Bergamini performed in New Yorkís Power Windows The Ultimate Tribute to Ruse for more than eleven years. During this time, Joe Bergamini also performed as a session artist and accompanied artists on several albums.

Joe Bergamini's love of performance and education led Joe to develop a third callingópublishing. Joe Bergamini's instructional tomes are unparalleled. He is also a regular contributor to Modern Drummer Magazine and the Percussion editor for Carl Fisher Publications. His books have won him three Modern Drummer Readers Polls.

In the spring of 2008, Joe Bergamini substituted for Kevin Dow on Jersey Boys on Broadway and also for Andres Patrick Forero at In The Heights. Joe Bergamini serves as the senior drum editor for Hudson Music.

  • In addition to his impressive career as a performer, Joe is also a celebrated educator. He has offered hundreds of clinics to aspiring drummers in schools, retails stores, and at conventions. He also teaches private lessons from his studio in New Jersey.
